Die on Your FeetDie on Your Feet is an 8 part comedy-drama that delves into the trials and tribulations of the world of stand-up comedy. Five stand-up comedians play five fictional stand-up comedians who never stop performing, on or off stage.
The story takes place during The Melbourne International Comedy Festival and much of the series was shot guerrilla fashion during this intense month long experience, utilising the back drop of the venues, the production, the sets, the colour and energy that make the festival unique.
Die on Your Feet has its’ origins in the play of the same name, performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival by Adam Hills, Alan Brough, Corinne Grant, Steven Gates and Greg Fleet.
The series features an original score by Mick Moriarty of the Gadflys, and songs by Paul McDermott, Paul Kelly, Nick Cave, The Saints, The Divinyls, Hilltop Hoods, The Go Betweens, The Loved Ones, The Gadflys and many more obscure and much loved Australian icons. (Source: tenplay)
